Have you seen the tv commercial that starts with a close-up of a very savory looking, cross-hatched grilled salmon with a generous mixed green salad on the side?
(this break in paragraphs inserted at the request of Lanell. She said it's blogging etiquette)
The next shot is from the POV of the person serving this yummy plate of mixed greens and grilled salmon and as they walk through a doorway into the "dining area" this fabulous looking dinner turns into a pile of mush and the reveal shows a fluffy white cat, licking it's chops ready to chow down on... Fancy Feast.
It's something. Because if you're not really paying attention, and you're kind of hungry, the beginning can be quite tantalizing...but then it just turns into this kind of nightmare or cruel joke. What is this kind of advertising?
The bait and switch? It's just so...insulting. Fancy Feast is also the cheapest can of cat food you can buy...the nerve!
(Lanell think I might get in trouble for putting Fancy Feast on my blog. Unlikely...they're getting even more mileage!)
